What is Sighasana or lion yoga pose?

This asana Singhasana means Lion Posture. This posture is called the lion pose because the face with the protruding tongue reflects the fierce image of a roaring lion. In Sanskrit, ‘Singha’ means ‘lion’. The Singhasana plays an important role in keeping your eyes, face, and neck healthy. Actually, this helps to strengthen most of the areas of your body parts. That keeps your body flexible and boost stamina.

How to do Singhasana Yoga?

  • To get to the Lion pose, first of all, join the feet of your feet together and sit on it.
  • Place both the heels under the testicle in such a way that the right heel is on the left side and the left heel is on the right side and bend upwards.
